Current Task
PTSD
- Barrier- block in public to create a buffer zone
- Orbit- will circle around me while walking or standing to create space
- Alerts- to someone watching or behind
- Wake Me Up- nightmares
- Tactile Stimulation and Deep Pressure Therapy-therapeutic distraction from depression, anxiety, or panic attack
- Distraction- provides an excuse to leave if feeling uncomfortable or overwhelmed
- Big Dog Bark- loud/ aggressive barking to deter someone from approaching us.
- Turn on lights- I panic to go home if no one is there. My mom was murdered in her home.
Vertigo
- Get Dad- find Dan at home
- Big Dog Bark- to alert Dan to come.
- Get Meds- retrieve medical bag with medication and drink
Vertigo or Meningioma Brain tumors
Wrapping my mind around the fact of having 2 large Meningioma brain tumors.
I wonder now about the vertigo diagnoses being correct or if it has been the tumors causing the vertigo.
She keeps me busy and focused as we try to complete goals for this year. My first visit with UCI Neural Surgeon Dr Frank P Hsu was November 18th. My first of 2 Surgeries was December the 13th, 2022
2nd Surgery is scheduled Feb 7th, 2023
Light Mobility
- When she is cleared by the vet and xrayed
- We will teach her to assist with help getting up
- Sit to stand
